Quick Release Camera Plate for 66" Kodak Gear Tripod (see note below)
Quick Release Plate to attach a camera to the 66" Kodak Gear Photo/Video Mid Size Tripod (Black Color)
This is not the original Kodak Gear Tripod quick release plate, but fits nicely and will hold your equipment securely. It features:
Metal thumb screw on bottom
a rubberized non-slip surface
1/4"-20 camera screw
Metal alignment pin
IMPORTANT NOTE: There are TWO DIFFERENT Kodak tripods with the model name "Gear", and the quick release plate for each is DIFFERENT!
This quick release plate is only for the Larger Black colored Gear tripod, NOT the smaller Silver colored 54" Kodak Gear Tripod shown in the last photo. If you have that model, this Plate will not fit! We have the correct plate available now in our store here

A quick release plate will attach to the camera's tripod mount and allows you to quickly and easily attach or remove the camera from a compatible tripod without having to waste time fumbling with the threaded mount.
Having the same number of quick release plates as the number of cameras and/or large telephoto lenses in use allows you to leave one on each, enabling the rapid change of equipment with minimal fuss, essential for the professional or advanced amateur photographer. Always good to have a spare.
