Use this custom Fitted Camera Plate for to quickly attach/release your camera to/from the Velbon EX-330Q tripod 3-Way Pan-and-Tilt Head.
The EX330Q model from Velbon is versatile Tripod with a 3-way pan/tilt head, and features a quick release system with a removable camera plate.
This quick release plate will only fit the EX-330Q model tripod.
There are many other Velbon models, and they require DIFFERENT quick release plates.
Manufactured by injection-mold and features a rubberized non-slip surface, with 1/4"-20 camera screw and alignment pin.
Note the kidney shaped top plate varies from original, but has no impact on use.
A quick release plate will attach to the camera's tripod mount and allows you to quickly and easily attach or remove the camera from a compatible tripod without having to waste time fumbling with the threaded mount.
Having the same number of quick release plates as the number of cameras and/or large telephoto lenses in use allows you to leave one on each, enabling the rapid change of equipment with minimal fuss, essential for the professional or advanced amateur photographer. Always good to have a spare.
