Use this custom Fitted Camera Plate for to quickly attach/release your camera to/from the EX-Macro tabletop tripod by Velbon.
The EX-Macro Aluminum Tabletop Tripod from Velbon is a small, lightweight tripod with a 3-way pan/tilt head, and unlike most tabletop tripods, it features a quick release system.
This quick release plate is only for the EX-Macro model tripod. Other Velbon models use DIFFERENT quick release plates.
Injection-molded Manufacture and features a rubberized non-slip surface, with 1/4"-20 camera screw and alignment pin.
Kidney shaped top plate.

A quick release plate will attach to the camera's tripod mount and allows you to quickly and easily attach or remove the camera from a compatible tripod without having to waste time fumbling with the threaded mount.
Having the same number of quick release plates as the number of cameras and/or large telephoto lenses in use allows you to leave one on each, enabling the rapid change of equipment with minimal fuss, essential for the professional or advanced amateur photographer. Always good to have a spare.
