Aluminum Camera Plate for Ambico V-0542 or V-0543 Tripod with Fluid Head
Custom Quick Release Plate + Shim combo for the Ambico V-0543 tripod with the Video Fluid Type Head.
This is Custom fitted for the long discontinued Ambico V-0543 tripod.
Simply install the included shim in the receiver well (remove double sided tape first and then leave permanently). Then the quick release plate can be inserted and used normally.
This is a strong and durable metal quick release plate (not plastic) with a cork top.
This plate does not fit other Ambico model tripods! It is only for the Ambico V-0543 tripod.

Note: this is not the original Ambico Plate (which is no longer available), but fits safely and securely.

A quick release plate will attach to the camera's tripod mount and allows you to quickly and easily attach or remove the camera from a compatible tripod without having to waste time fumbling with the threaded mount.
Having the same number of quick release plates as the number of cameras and/or large telephoto lenses in use allows you to leave one on each, enabling the rapid change of equipment with minimal fuss, essential for the professional or advanced amateur photographer. Always good to have a spare.
