Vintage 1983 33rpm Vinyl LP Record
Record Label: A&M Records – SP-3735
Album, BRY, Translucent purple KC-600 Vinyl
When holding this pressing (vinyl) up to a light source it shows through as translucent purple due to the KC-600 vinyl used.
Cover is BRY variant of US LP: (Member appearance from top) + (selected top image - position) Sting/Andy/Stewart (skeleton - right)
Of interest: Synchronicity reached number one on both the UK Albums Chart and the US Billboard 200, and sold over eight million copies in the US. The album was widely acclaimed by critics. Praise centered on its cohesive merging of disparate genres and sonic experimentation. Rolling Stone described "each cut on Synchronicity [as] not simply a song but a miniature, discrete soundtrack". It has since been included in the magazine's lists of the "100 Best Albums of the Eighties" and the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time". In 2009, Synchronicity was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. In 2023, the album was selected for preservation in the United States National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."
