About the Author and Narrator
Author Elin Hilderbrand first discovered the magic of Nantucket in July 1993, and lives there with her husband and their three young children. She grew up in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, and traveled extensively before settling on Nantucket, which has been the setting for her seven previous novels. Hilderbrand is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and the graduate fiction workshop at the University of Iowa.Narrator Katie Hale has played a wide variety of roles on stage, in film, and as a voiceover artist. A graduate of the Peabody Conservatory, Katie has appeared Off-Broadway and is an award-winning narrator whose clients include The Discovery Channel, NASA, PBS, The Washington Post, and many more. She currently lives in Baltimore with her family. Katie also read Barefoot for Hachette Audio
