Please Carefully note:
Please be sure to measure your tripod receiver to be sure as some were made by different manufacturers with the same number!!!
When measuring down into the receiver section or quick release platform (where the plate goes), it should be 44mm wide or 1 5/8".
If the width inside the receptacle is not ~39mm or 1 9/16" (meaning your is larger), then you probably have the MX2000P Tripod.
The model MX2000 that you own should be BLANK when looking down into the receptacle (where the plate goes).
It should NOT say MX2000P. See Photos.
If your tripod does say MX2000P, we have the correct plate available now in our store here.
Normally your tripod will have a round yellow bubble level on top, in front of where the QR goes in.
- Base Dimensions: 39mm (bevel side) x 44mm on flat side

A quick release plate will attach to the camera's tripod mount and allows you to quickly and easily attach or remove the camera from a compatible tripod without having to waste time fumbling with the threaded mount.
Having the same number of quick release plates as the number of cameras and/or large telephoto lenses in use allows you to leave one on each, enabling the rapid change of equipment with minimal fuss, essential for the professional or advanced amateur photographer. Always good to have a spare.
