For quick attachment/release of a camera to/from the Targus or Walmart MX-1000 tripod, or OSN brand OS500 Tripod
Important Note: There are multiple models of the MX1000. Some made by OSN and others for Targus (and/or Target), so please read note below, and please be sure to measure your tripod receiver to be sure.

Base Insert Dimensions: 35mm x 35mm (1 1/2" square)
Top Platform dimensions: 40mm x 60mm
Includes video alignment pin
Please note: when measuring down into the receiver section or quick release platform, it should be 35mm wide or 1 3/8". If the width inside the receiver is larger, then you will need a different plate. NOTE: If it measures 43mm or 1 5/8" or if you have an OSN / Targus MX2000-P (2000P), we have the correct quick release plate available now in our store here

A quick release plate will attach to the camera's tripod mount and allows you to quickly and easily attach or remove the camera from a compatible tripod without having to waste time fumbling with the threaded mount.
Having the same number of quick release plates as the number of cameras and/or large telephoto lenses in use allows you to leave one on each, enabling the rapid change of equipment with minimal fuss, essential for the professional or advanced amateur photographer. Always good to have a spare.
