Aluminum Camera Plate for Sunpak Compact Pistol Grip 620-CPG & 6000PG tripod
For easy & quickly attaching/releasing a camera to/from the Sunpak 620CPG head on a 6000PG Tripod (or any tripod with a 620CPG head)
This replaces the Sunpak SP620-749 part number.
Has a 1/4"-20 camera thumb screw and alignment pin.
Metal construction and 41.5mm x 41.5mm x 13mm dimensions
Top platform is 50mm x 50mm with an anti-slip cork surface
Heavy Duty all metal plate is better and stronger than the original plate.
Important: Please look at the receptacle in photo #3 as that is the 620-CPG head. Sunpak has make more than one model of the Compact pistol grip head and they are NOT the same although they look that way.

A quick release plate will attach to the camera's tripod mount and allows you to quickly and easily attach or remove the camera from a compatible tripod without having to waste time fumbling with the threaded mount.
Having the same number of quick release plates as the number of cameras and/or large telephoto lenses in use allows you to leave one on each, enabling the rapid change of equipment with minimal fuss, essential for the professional or advanced amateur photographer. Always good to have a spare.
