The Sunpak 6600DX is a very well made quality tripod well worth putting back into service. The original 620-739 quick release plate is no longer available, but with this quick release plate you can get this quality Sunpak tripod back in service.
Sale is for the quick release plate w/ spacer only.
Important NOTE: Sunpak sold the 6600 with TWO DIFFERENT HEADS and each head uses a DIFFERENT Quick Release Plate!
This plate is for the 6600DX Only!
This is NOT for the 6600PG Pistol Grip Head, just the 6600DX tripod with the Pan-Tilt head (not a pistol grip head)!
If you have a Sunpak 6600PG with the Pistol Grip Head, we have the correct plate for that model available now in our store here
A quick release plate will attach to the camera's tripod mount and allows you to quickly and easily attach or remove the camera from a compatible tripod without having to waste time fumbling with the threaded mount.
Having the same number of quick release plates as the number of cameras and/or large telephoto lenses in use allows you to leave one on each, enabling the rapid change of equipment with minimal fuss, essential for the professional or advanced amateur photographer. Always good to have a spare.
