Replacement quick release plate which fits the OLDER 2nd Generation Platinum Plus 5858D tripod by Sunpak
Please look and measure carefully as there were at least 3 DIFFERENT models labeled 5858D by Sunpak (really bad idea)
Base dimension is: 38mm wide x 38mm front/back (approx 1 1/2" x 1 1/2")
Top dimension is : 45mm x 45mm
Plastic molded construction, ribbed rubber top with 1/4-20 coin screw and video pin.
Again, please measure carefully as there are 3 DIFFERENT GENERATIONS of the Platinum Plus 5858D tripod by Sunpak on the market.
Be sure yours looks and measures as shown in LAST PHOTO and indicated above.

The latest generation 5858D is still being sold at Best Buy, etc. and the base of the plate for it measures even larger, approx 43mm x 43mm.
