Use to quickly attach/remove a camera to/from the Optex T-260 Tripod, T-265 Tripod, T-465 or T-565 Tripod
The original plate was a flush mount plate. This plate has a 1-7/8" x 3-1/8" (48mm x 80mm) platform with a cork anti-slip surface, strong poly molded plastic with a 1/4"-20 thumb screw, and alignment pin.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Optex made MANY DIFFERENT Tripod models, and each uses a DIFFERENT Quick Release Plate!
This plate will only fit the Optex models listed here:
- Optex T-260 Tripod
- Optex T-265 Tripod
- Optex T-465 Tripod
- Optex T-565 Tripod

A quick release plate will attach to the camera's tripod mount and allows you to quickly and easily attach or remove the camera from a compatible tripod without having to waste time fumbling with the threaded mount.
Having the same number of quick release plates as the number of cameras and/or large telephoto lenses in use allows you to leave one on each, enabling the rapid change of equipment with minimal fuss, essential for the professional or advanced amateur photographer. Always good to have a spare.
