Replacement Camera Plate for use on Giottos VT Series tripods (listed below)
This quick release plate will allow you to attach & remove a camera to & from a VT series tripod quickly.
Features a 1/4"-20 thumb screw, ~48mm x 80mm top plate w/ anti-slip cork top, and alignment pin.
Note: This is not the original plate, which is no longer available, but it will hold your camera securely.
Compatible Giottos tripods:
Giottos VT Series tripods: 802, 805, 806, 807, 808, 809, 816, 818, 905, and 906
(this plate ONLY fits these listed models. There are many other Giottos tripods that require different plates)

A quick release plate will attach to the camera's tripod mount and allows you to quickly and easily attach or remove the camera from a compatible tripod without having to waste time fumbling with the threaded mount.
Having the same number of quick release plates as the number of cameras and/or large telephoto lenses in use allows you to leave one on each, enabling the rapid change of equipment with minimal fuss, essential for the professional or advanced amateur photographer. Always good to have a spare.
