Original QB-635 is the predecessor to the QB-635L
The Velbon QRA-635 Quick Release Adapter provides a Camera Plate / Platform and Quick Release Mechanism for vintage (or modern) tripods that do not have a quick release plate system. Therefor it could be fitted on almost any model tripod (the model of tripod is irrelevant).
Features a standard 1/4"-20 camera screw w/ rubber anti-clip surface.
NOTE: This is different than the QRA-635L II for the QRA 635L II Quick Release Adapter.

A quick release plate will attach to the camera's tripod mount and allows you to quickly and easily attach or remove the camera from a compatible tripod without having to waste time fumbling with the threaded mount. Having the same number of quick release plates as the number of cameras and/or large telephoto lenses in use allows you to leave one on each, enabling the rapid change of equipment with minimal fuss, essential for the professional or advanced amateur photographer. Always good to have a spare.
